Bios for Roundtable Leads
Hilary Morris is the Director of Marketing and Communications at Stuart Country Day School of the Sacred Heart in Princeton, NJ and oversees everything from all-school communications and social media to crisis communications and brand management. Hilary first connected with Stuart through Twitter when she was growing her own business as a marketing consultant in the Princeton, NJ area. In that time she worked with numerous small businesses, restaurants, and organizations on their marketing needs, including social media, public relations, event marketing and branding. She is also an instructor on topics relating to social media, marketing, and business. Hilary delights in sharing her career transition story from middle school math teacher to blogger to entrepreneur. She is an example of what you can achieve if you go with your gut and pursue your passion! Hilary lives in Montgomery Township with her husband and three daughters.
Ellen Malavsky is a Marketing Communications Consultant working with clients in for-profit and nonprofit sectors. She began her career on the agency side in account management in Princeton, New Jersey, assigned to national accounts such as Johnson & Johnson, M&M/Mars and Nabisco. She found her way to the 'client side' of the business marketing to specialty gift and Hallmark stores in Chicago, Illinois. After the birth of her sons, Ellen returned to New Jersey and launched her business as an independent contractor by taking on a large consulting contract with Lenox (Lawrenceville) to build-out their specialty retail gift division. Now, 20 years later, Ellen's passion is helping businesses and nonprofits find their voice and amplify it. Her skill set: all-things-marketing. Ellen is a joy-seeker. She loves spending time with her family, traveling, and enjoying the arts.
