Maximizing Impact: Demystifying Donor-Advised Funds

Join Women in Development of New Jersey and local community leaders Elizabeth B. Wagner (Bryn Mawr Trust), Marcia W. Shackelford (Princeton Area Community Foundation), and Sarah A. Kempson (Roundview Capital) for an enlightening panel conversation on demystifying the world of Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs).

Our esteemed panelists will share their unique perspectives, experiences, and insights on the various aspects of DAFs, shedding light on the advantages, challenges, and best practices for harnessing the full potential of this philanthropic tool. Together, we will navigate the complexities of DAFs, demystify misconceptions, and explore strategies for maximizing tax and social outcomes.

We’ll also talk about what fundraisers can do to maximize giving from these sources, which can be opaque, and what characteristics you often find in donors who use DAFs.
