About the Speakers

 Linda Doyle is an experienced nonprofit leader and grant writer with a strong background in arts administration. She served as Executive Director of the New Jersey Festival Orchestra for nearly 10 years, driving growth, fundraising, and community engagement. With a career foundation in communications at Dun & Bradstreet, Linda honed her skills in writing, event planning, and strategic leadership. Now working independently, she specializes in writing grants for organizations in health and human services and the arts. Linda is deeply committed to helping nonprofits secure funding that supports their mission and fosters positive social change.

Gail L. Freeman is the Founder and President of Freeman Philanthropic Services, LLC (FPS), an executive recruitment firm specializing in the nonprofit sector. With over 25 years of experience, she has successfully completed approximately 700 executive searches for mission-driven organizations worldwide, across various sectors including healthcare, higher education, and cultural institutions. Her firm also advises public figures on philanthropic initiatives. Beyond her recruitment role, Ms. Freeman is actively involved in the philanthropic community, serving as Chair Emeritus and current Board member of the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, and has served on boards for The New School’s Milano Graduate School, AFP Foundation for Philanthropy International, and the Greater New York AFP Chapter. She holds a master’s degree in Nonprofit Management from The New School and an undergraduate degree from Grand Valley State University.

Pam Mulligan is an Advancement and External Affairs Leader at Syracuse University, focusing on transformational growth across the Northeast's regional portfolio. She leads strategic engagement, stewardship, communications, and partnerships in key cities like NYC, DC, Boston, and Philadelphia, representing SU's largest alumni network. Currently, she serves as the Executive Director of Alumni Engagement for SU in the Northeast, and also holds leadership roles as Vice President of WID-NJ and on the CASE District II Cabinet. Pam holds dual Bachelor's degrees from SU's Newhouse and Maxwell Schools, a Master of Arts from Seton Hall University, and a Juris Doctor from Seton Hall Law School.
